I was one of the 21 participants that has the privilege to be part of the first edition of Onlab Summer School in Berlin 2011. It was an initiative of the Swiss graphic design studio Onlab (onlab.ch).
Supervised by Nicolas Bourquin and Thibaud Tissot and with further guidance by experts from other disciplines, we were guided through the entire production chain within 10 intensive workshop days. At the end of the workshop, all the participants leave with copies of the summer school publication in their hands.
The Berlin-based design agency Onlab held its first summer school in 2011. During ten days, an international group of designers, divided into seven groups, had to design and edit different chapters in this publication about the failure of development aid across the decades.
